Karl Widerquist is professor for philosophy at Georgetown University at their Campus in Quatar. He is co-founder of the U.S. Basic Income Grant Network and author of numerous books on UBI.
In this interview he talks about UBI test projects, the possible influence of a universal unconditional basic income on wages, the Alaska Permanent Fund, the development of the UBI debate over the last four decades and the question whether an unconditional income is already in place in some of the rich oil states of the Persian Gulf.
